Environmental Protection Agency - EPA Press Release: EPA reaches agreement with Degussa on clean-air violations

Now here's an interesting article. I guess the EPA really wants to have homeowners replace their pre-1988 vintage stoves with clean burning EPA-certified stoves.

In this agreement an industrial firm with alleged clean air violations is paying a penalty ($105,000) and spending $245,000 to replace homeowners' pre-88 stoves. They're starting with their home county - Washington County, Ohio.

So, if you live in Ohio, folks, get in line!
